Gas prices up state-wide

DEARBORN, Mich. – You may have noticed a slight increase in prices at the pump. according to AAA, gas prices in Michigan are up 9 cents throughout the state compared to last week.
Michiganders are now paying an average of $2.04 a gallon for regular gas. This price is 3 cents more than this time last month but still 55 cents cheaper than this time last year.
Since mid–November, oil prices have steadily increased contributing to the increases at pumps. AAA said right now Traverse City and Flint have some of the cheapest gas prices in the state.
