Some good news for Frontier customers who’ve been experiencing problems with their phone or Internet services. The company hopes to have all internet and phone services restored to the Alpena area by the end of this week.
The service interruption is a result of a contractor for the city of Alpena accidentally cutting fiber optic cables during the reconstruction of Third Avenue.
This knocked out services for more than 4,000 Frontier customers. The company has crews on scene and has been working 24 hours a day to resolve the issue by the end of the week.
As of right now the majority of services have been restored.
