Father And Son Serving Time For Sexual Assault Appeal Convictions
An update has been released on an Alpena father and son who are serving time for sexual assault.
James William Freese–61, and James William Freese II–42 were both sentenced to prison in the fall of 2015.
The two are serving time for sexually assaulting women, girls, and female relatives. Both father and son appealed their convictions. This week the Michigan Court of Appeals turned down all of their arguments.
The Freese’s could now take their arguments to the Michigan Supreme Court.
Both are serving up to forty years in prison.
