FAFSA application open to students
ALPENA, Mich.— It’s that time of year again, when high school seniors can get a jumpstart on applying for financial aid. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid better known as FAFSA is open for students to apply.
FAFSA provides information on scholarships that are available to college students. FAFSAÂ also gives students access to opportunities such as work study and grants.
Applying early is recommended to ensure students receive the maximize amount of funding available.
Students and parents can attend the virtual informational meeting Thursday, October 15 starting at 7pm. College advisory staff will go over the application process and information students will need to prepare for college.
