Expansion Plan Approved At MidMichigan Alpena

A $59,000,000 expansion plan and renovation project at MidMichigan Medical Center Alpena has been approved. The 99,000 square foot project will be the new home to a inpatient tower where patients will have their own private living quarters. Once the Michigan department of community health approves the plan, construction of the tower will begin in spring 2019. There are many benefits that come from having inpatient rooms including patient safety and comfort.
