Evening fire in Posen destroys service garage

POSEN, Mich. – An evening fire in Posen Tuesday destroyed an old service garage.
The fire happened around 9 p.m.
Posen Fire and Rescue was assisted by Rogers City, Long Rapids and Presque Isle first responders.
Fire crews were able to contain the fire, but there was minor damage to two homes between the destroyed building.
Posen Fire Captain Terry Buczkowski said the building was not occupied so there were no injuries.
He said there were derby cars inside that is a total loss.
Posen Fire told WBKB the cause of the fire is under investigation.
