Enforcement agencies take down another prostitution ring

ALPENA, Mich. — Enforcement agencies in Northern Michigan paired up in an investigation to take down another prostitution ring. The Traverse Narcotics Team and Benzie Sheriff’s Office made several arrests leading to the arraignment of three suspects.

Police caught 54–year–old Kevin Bonney soliciting a woman for prostitution. The Beulah resident has been charged with engaging the services of prostitution and using a computer to commit a crime.

Muskegon residents Tonya Wynne (28) and Kenya Griffin (41) connected to Bonney are also facing prostitution charges. Wynne faces charges of conspiracy, engaging in prostitution and using a computer to commit a crime. Griffin faces a number of criminal offenses. He is charged with conspiracy, accepting the proceeds of prostitution (a 20-year felony), and using a computer to commit a crime.

The group is awaiting their next court appearance.
