Ella White celebrated their 50th day of school with a trip back in time to the days of ‘Rock n Roll.’
Sock Hop, root beer floats, and even dance moves, taking it back to the 50ths, kindergarten and 1st grade students crossed major milestones working on their learning skills over the past 50 days.
“We had them bring in a collection of 50 items that they had to count themselves. We did exercises in increments of 50. We introduce them to a record player, and some 50–era dance moves. Root beer floats, coloring, and learning 50 words,” Mrs. Hunter revealed.
Mrs. Hunters said she’s proud of the accomplishments the students have already achieved this semester.
“Their reading has improved, I have seen improvement in spelling, sentence writing, just a lot of improvement in 50 days. I’m looking forward to the rest of the school year,” she added.
