Dry weekend, warm Saturday

High temperatures today reached the middle to upper 70s, noticeably cooler than yesterday’s 90-degree high temperature. Greater warmth was restricted by clouds and showers for much of the day.

Showers are moving east of our area, and drier air will gradually move in. However, there is a chance of patchy fog overnight. After that, partly cloudy skies are expected tomorrow and even more sunshine on Sunday.

Overnight low temperatures will cool to the upper 50s, and morning temperatures will gradually rise into the 60s. Temperatures will reach 83 degrees in the afternoon with light winds out of the west. Bright weather will last all weekend.

Saturday is looking like a great day to go to the beach. Partly cloudy skies, light waves and temperatures in the middle to upper 70s are expected at the shoreline. Temperatures on Sunday will be a few degrees cooler, but it will still a fine day at the shore with light winds and waves.

Tomorrow will feel warm and muggy with highs in the lower 80s. Slightly less humidity and high temperatures in the middle 70s are expected Sunday with mostly sunny skies then increasing cloud cover Sunday evening. The next chance of showers and thunderstorms will arrive Monday along with higher humidity levels and highs in the lower 80s, then Tuesday is looking dry.
