Dry and cool for the next few days

High pressure centered north of Lakes Superior has kept the skies clear today. Tuesday will be partly cloudy, and a mix of sun and clouds is expected midweek. Showers currently over parts of the Upper Plains will divert to our south.

Low temperatures overnight will cool to about 27 degrees. Morning temperatures will be in the lower to middle 30s. Partly cloudy skies are expected and highs will reach about 47 degrees. Winds will be light, out of the east about 5 mph.

Tuesday’s highs will be in the upper 40s. Temperatures will get milder Wednesday, getting to the upper 50s. Then the temperature trend will go downhill late-week. Highs will be near 50 degrees Thursday, and only in the lower 40s Friday.

Tuesday will be partly cloudy with cooler temperatures. Wednesday will have a mix of sun and clouds and highs around 57 degrees, but that’s still a few degrees cooler than normal for early May. Thursday should be mainly dry with highs close to 50 degrees. Friday, there will be a chance of mixed precipitation so a few snowflakes mixing in are possible, and temperatures will be much below normal.
