Dockside Cafe in Harrisville catches fire

HARRISVILLE, Mich. — The popular Dockside Cafe in Harrisville caught fire on Tuesday evening.  The owner of the next door property, Steve Arens, said as a result, his building was impacted with smoke and water damage.

Arens, who lives downstate, said he learned of the fire when first responders called him needing access to his building.  He also received reports from the local store manager and one of his builders who provided him with details of his building.

The cause of the fire is still unknown. We will have more updates as new information comes in.
