DNR PLAN applications open

MICHIGAN — Certain landowners in Northeast Michigan can now apply to a DNR program.
Landowners in multiple counties, including Alpena, can apply for a grant under the Private Land Assistance Network.
The grant helps landowners make their grounds more habitable for deer.
Participants also collaborate with hunters to manage the spread of bovine tuberculosis.
The application period closes on July 18.
