President Biden addressed the nation on Tuesday and said, “I’d hoped when I became president that I would not have to do this again. Uvalde, Texas. An elementary school. Beautiful, innocent, second, third and fourth graders.”
He continued by saying, “As a nation, we have to ask when in God’s name are we gonna stand up to the gun lobby. When in God’s name are we do what we all know in our gut needs to be done.”
President Biden ended his address by adding, “May God bless the loss of innocent life this sad day and may the lord be near the broken-hearted and save those crushed in spirit, because they’re going to need a lot of help and a lot of our prayers. God love you.”
