Daily COVID-19 update May 1, 2020
As of 3 p.m. the state’s website is reporting 977 new cases along with 77 deaths. This brings the totals to 42,356 cases and over 3,866 in the state.
Alpena County is reporting no new cases but there has been a 6th death. Oscoda and Montmorency are both showing 5 cases each and Alcona is showing 4. Presque Isle is reporting 11 cases.
There are now only four counties in the state that have yet to report their first case. All of them are in the upper peninsula.
