Daily COVID-19 update April 30, 2020

Our latest update shows 980 newly reported cases for today. There were also 119 deaths. Totals now amount to 41,379 confirmed cases and 3,789 deaths in the state.

The state website is showing 6 new cases in Alpena County, bringing the total to 82. District Health Department No. 4 is warning of a possible public exposure at the Walmart on M–32 in Alpena. They say that anyone who was there on April 25 from 7 to 8 p.m. could have been exposed. The only time DHD4 will alert the public to specific locations is when an individual who has tested positive is somewhere that the contact tracing team is unable to contact all individuals who may have been present.
