Daily COVID-19 update April 23, 2020

As of 3 p.m. today there have been 1,325 newly reported cases and 164 newly reported deaths. Totals now stand at 35,291 cases in the state with 2,977 deaths.

The state’s website is reporting 47 cases in Alpena County, which is up 7 from yesterday. District Health Department No. 4 is reporting 49 in Alpena. Iosco County also saw an increase, going from 15 to 21. As of April 17, there have been 3,237 people in the state who have recovered from COVID–19.
