Culvers gave back in a major way! The famous burger restaurant hosted a Michigan, Michigan State tailgate and fundraiser on Friday to help out the Huron Humane Society.
Restaurant attendees enjoyed dollar 50 burgers, and dollar cones while participating in a chance to win either a Michigan afghan or a Michigan State afghan.
Huron humane society event organizer, Jennifer Newhouse said fundraisers like this one helps provide needs for the animals at the shelter.
“Well it cost’s money every single day to have our doors open, so all the help that we can get is greatly appreciated, so that we can keep operating and keep animals safe while they are homeless, and get them into new homes,” Newhouse explained.
Culvers owner, Sherry Milstein made the afghans. Sherry also says that the restaurant is currently selling culvers 2017 calendars with over 56 coupons and more inside to also benefit the Huron Humane Society.
