County Republican Party picks new candidate
ALPENA COUNTY, Mich.– The Alpena County Republican Party has a new candidate running in November for commissioner.
After District 6 Commissioner Ronald McDonald passed away earlier this month, the Alpena County Republican party had to announce a new candidate to run in his place. This past week, members of the party’s executive committee could volunteer themselves to run in November.
On Friday night, the committee voted on which volunteer will run in the election.
The Alpena County Republican Party has selected Kevin Osbourne, who will run unopposed.
