Cloudy and warm as cold front arrives on Thursday
What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with abundant sunshine and warm temperatures. The weather begins to change tonight as clouds roll in after midnight with temperatures around 30°. Thursday’s outlook will be similar to Tuesday with considerable cloudiness but still above average for the middle of February. Rain chances will be kept to a minimum with a changeover to snow by the evening as the cold front slides through Thursday afternoon.
The chill returns as the workweek wraps up on Friday with high temperatures climbing only into the chilly lower 20s with mostly sunny skies. The good news is that the cold air will retreat this weekend as temperatures surge towards the freezing mark with partly sunny skies. The best opportunity to see any precipitation throughout the Sunrise Side, likely will take place Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning with a rain/snow mix.
