Clouds Slowly Overtake the Sky on Thursday

Clouds tonight could play a role on how far down temperatures will descend either into the lower teens or upper single digits. Thursday plans to be a dry day for the Sunrise Side as high pressure slides towards the east. Clouds will thicken Thursday night with a chance of snow or freezing rain towards sunrise on Friday. Temperatures on Thursday will stay seasonable in the lower 30s.

Unfortunately, Friday can be problematic as freezing rain is likely especially in the morning creating for slick and slippery roads. Temperatures will play a crucial role if the freezing rain turns into rain before diminishing in the early evening. The weekend remains to be split with partly sunny skies on Saturday and another dueling battle of mixing precipitation on Sunday. The good news arrives on Monday as plentiful sunshine resumes and sticks around for Tuesday. Temperatures throughout the extended intent to be above average ranging from the the upper 30s to lower 40s.
