Westerly winds today helped induce lake effect snow showers keeping conditions cloudier than earlier this workweek. The clouds plan to stay around through Friday as another clipper system could brush the Sunrise Side. The consistency of this week’s temperatures continue for tonight and Friday with lows dipping into the single digits and highs topping out in the lower 20s.
The clouds begin to thin on Friday night setting up for a quiet and slow warming pattern for the weekend and early workweek. Temperatures will finally ascend from the 20s on the weekend into the lower 30s by midweek.
