The City of Alpena proclaims High School Senior Recognition Day
ALPENA, Mich.— The City of Alpena has officially proclaimed May 29th as High School Senior Recognition Day. This is a tribute to the Alpena High School graduates who were not able to participate in a traditional graduation ceremony.
A slide show will run Friday night from 7 to 9pm at Wildcat Stadium featuring senior photos along with the student’s name. The slide show will be displayed on the scoreboard featuring all 280 graduates.
Following the presentation, a virtual commencement will be held Sunday May 31st starting at 1:30pm and can be seen here on WBKB, the Alpena High School Facebook page and on Zoom.
