City of Alpena implements new fee schedule

ALPENA, Mich. — The City of Alpena has announced a new fee schedule that will go into effect July 1, 2021.  The new fees will mostly affect homeowners and contractors.  Building permits will be evaluation based.

According to the City of Alpena’s Building Inspector Billy Vogt, the last increase happened in 2017.  Vogt said the reason for the fee raise is to bring fees in line with surrounding counties.
