Childbirth classes may ease anxiety for first-time parents
ALPENA, Mich. — MidMichigan Medical Center is offering childbirth classes to help ease anxiety for first–time parents.
The hospital offers three different classes designed to help educate soon to be parents.
Healthcare professionals recommend the classes be completed between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy. The classes are offered in Alpena, Mt. Pleasant, Clare and Gladwin.
Course costs range from $30 to $60 per class per couple, and there is a $30 discount for those who register for all three classes.
Patients who are currently enrolled in Medicaid can attend free of charge.
