Chance of snow showers late tomorrow; Milder and mostly dry Thursday

High temperatures today reached the lower 30s under cloudy skies and a breeze out of the west about 10 mph. The cloud cover we have seen today will remain in place over the next couple of days.

A small, weak disturbance near the Minnesota-North Dakota border will continue to move eastward. It will bring a chance of snow showers, possibly mixed with light freezing drizzle, tomorrow evening. Any precipitation will be short-lived, leaving Thursday morning, then most of Thursday should end up with dry weather.

Overnight, low temperatures will drop to the lower 20s, possibly down to the upper teens inland, under mostly cloudy skies and light winds. Mostly cloudy skies will remain tomorrow, as temperatures gradually climb to a high of 35 degrees. After that, a chance of snow showers will enter from the west tomorrow evening.

For tomorrow, highs will reach the mid-30s, and temperatures will become even milder toward the end of the week. For Thursday, after a chance of flurries early, mostly cloudy skies are expected as highs reach 38 degrees. A more substantial chance of precipitation will enter on Friday, forecast to start as a wintry mix then change to rain. On Friday, early-morning low temperatures will start around 30 degrees, then highs will warm to around 40 degrees in the afternoon. Sky conditions are expected to dry out in time for the weekend.
