Bomb Threat Forces Students and Staff to Evacuate Thunder Bay Jr. High
Thunder Bay Junior High students and staff were forced to evacuate after a written bomb threat was found in the girls bathroom. This afternoon classes ended abruptly after the bomb threat was discovered on a bathroom stall. Thunder Bay Junior High staff immediately took action and guided the students over to Alpena High School for safety precautions, while the Alpena County Sheriff’s office investigated the incident inside of the school
Alpena Public Schools sent a press release stating that school will resume tomorrow, guidance counselors will be on hand for students, and every effort will be made to identify the student and hold the individual accountable. Right now there are no further updates regarding the investigation
