Boating Season in Alpena in Full Effect
The Alpena Youth Sailing Club is for ages 8 through 18. They will teach you how to sail, swim, and instructions on boating.
Instructor for the Alpena Youth Club River Servia said, “After going to the camp for 5 days we’ll leave knowing how to sail a boat and in the camp we have other programs beside just sailing fundamentals knot tying just basically having a good time while trying to learn about sailing and enjoying the water….”
There are many boat owners that are getting ready to spend their summer on the water.
Serial Entrepreneur Chip Miller said, “It’s the enjoyment and relaxation that you get once everything seems to be functional and working and friends and family can join you.”
Miller came to Alpena for the Alpena Municipal Marina he said they do a fantastic job.

With Thunder Bay River and Lake Huron surrounding the city anyone can enjoy boat season and get sailing.
