Blue Line Club to host “Puck O’ The Irish” fundraiser and alumni game

Alpena, Mich — If you want to see the 2018-19 Alpena Wildcat hockey team one more time, you can on Saint Patrick’s Day. The Blue Line Club is hosting their “Puck O’ The Irish” alumni game and fundraiser at 2:00pm this Sunday.
The event is a fundraiser for Alpena’s hockey program. Admission is by donation at the door. There will be a 50/50 raffle, silent auctions, and more. One of the silent auction items will give fans the chance to bid one of the players into the penalty box. Attendees can expect other silent auction items as well.
The Wildcats will face an alumni team featuring Tyler Skiba, Kevin Lundquist, Austin Gilmet, Nate Cosbitt, Brad Gosselin, Rod Person, Noah VanDusen, Steve Tulgestka, Alex Senchuk, Phil Tulgestka, Mike Thompson, Mark Wincziewski, Kyle Wirgau, AJ Stibitz, John Grzeskowiak, Zach Birmingham, and Marco Wieser in goal.
Fans can get player autographs after the game. Fans are also encouraged to bring their own skates so they can skate with the players after the game. The ice time is covered by the Blue Line Club, skate rentals are not.
