Blizzard Warning on Sunday for Presque Isle, Montmorency, Oscoda, and Ogemaw counties
Blizzard Warnings have been issued for Presque Isle, Montmorency, Oscoda and Ogemaw counties beginning Sunday at 10 a.m. Winds, blowing snow, and travel conditions will get progressively worse midday through afternoon, lasting into tomorrow night. While the snowfall amounts are low, travel will become hazardous with the combination of 50 mph wind gusts and any amount of snow leading to whiteout conditions.
A High Wind Warning is in effect for tomorrow along the Lake Huron shoreline for Alpena, Alcona, Iosco, and Arenac counties, where snowfall will be less significant.
