Besser holiday exhibit now open
ALPENA, Mich.– The Besser Museum reopened Monday and their holiday exhibit is open for visitors.
The museum planned to open the “Season of Light” last weekend, but chose to postpone it to Monday because of the heavy snow.
The exhibit features holiday decorations around the main floor, and a “trees of the world” feature.
The museum has also added two seasonal shows to the planetarium.
If you’re concerned about social distancing, Education Coordinator Amanda Kucharek says they’ve got some options online.
To make up for the delays, the staff has decided to extend the Season of Light to the end of January.
The museum currently admits 25 guests per hour.
