Beautification Of Rogers City
Let the beautification of Rogers City begin. With the help of a new crowd-funding campaign, Rogers City plans to update their parking area into a welcome space for visitors.
The Rogers City Third and Erie Beautification Campaign was made possible by a Michigan–based crowd–funding platform called Patronicity. The project’s goal is to transform the under–used parking lot at the intersection of Third and Erie into a welcome space for visitors to Rogers city.
The welcome space will provide a sense of the town’s nautical history, complete with historically preserved pieces, guided walkways, welcome signs, and more to function as a place for people to gather and hang out.
Public Spaces Community Places is a collaborative effort between a few different organizations where local residents can use crowd–funding to develop projects in their communities, while being backed by matching grants from MEDC.
