APS delays Ella White school year
ALPENA, Mich. — If your child attends Ella White, they now have an extra two weeks of summer vacation this year.
Supply chain issues related to COVID–19 delayed materials construction crews need to complete work on Ella White elementary.
Friday evening, Alpena schools announced they will delay Ella White’s school year by two weeks. They say they reached the decision by considering construction tasks, teacher prep time, and student safety.
The new date for the open house is September 9. The school year will begin on September 13.
