APS board vacancy available
ALPENA, Mich. — The Alpena Public Schools Board of Education is looking for candidates to fill an interim board position. Eligible candidates must be registered voters in the APS district and they must be at least 18 years of age. They should also be a resident in the state of Michigan for at least 30 days. Additional qualifications are a citizen of the US and resident of the school district on or before the 30th day prior to the start date. A candidate cannot be a current employee of the school district.
Interested candidates must submit a letter expressing interest and qualifications including your resume and cover letter to Alpena Public Schools, Attention: Board Vacancy 2373 Gordon Road Alpena, MI 49707 or email kneeshawl@alpenaschools.com and put in the subject line: Board Vacancy.
The deadline to apply is 4:00 p.m. on January 15, 2021.
