APS announces back to school dates

ALPENA, Mich. — Alpena Public Schools (APS) has announced its annual back-to-school events at all APS buildings on Aug. 24 and 25.
August 24
- Thunder Bay Junior High 6th Grade and New Student Orientation from 12:30pm to 2:30pm
August 25:
- Alpena High School 9th Grade and New Student Orientation from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Elementary Open Houses from 5 p.m. to 6:30pm (plans may be changed for building currently under construction)
- Alpena High School Open House from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Thunder Bay Junior High Open House from 4:30 p.m. to 6p.m. (Student Chromebook pick-up will also happen during this time)
- Alpena High School 9th Grade Parent Meeting from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m
