Aplex Tennis Center launches new program
ALPENA, Mich.– The Aplex Tennis Center has opened up a new program for Alpena’s service workers.
The Aplex Tennis Center opened up their “Service and Industry” night last week, and hopes to make it a regular event. The program is open to the workers of Alpena, from retail employees, to waitstaff, to factory employees, and runs from 8:00 to 9:00 P.M. every Monday night.
Aaron Pokorzynski of the tennis center says the turnout for the first night was fairly strong.
“For our first one, it was great. We had about 10 people. Some who have played tennis before, some people who haven’t, so… Our goal is to hopefully get at least 10 to 15 people per time, which would be ideal.”
