APLEX helping kids get back moving

ALPENA, Mich. – The pandemic has made it hard for everyone to stay in shape, especially our youth.

While contact sports is back on in Michigan, many children have been home learning remotely without much recess or their favorite recreational activities have been put on hold.

Now it’s time to recoup and places like the APLEX in Alpena are doing their part to get kids back active with a host of activities.

Upcoming events include a free tennis clinic, dodge ball and karate classes that are going on now.
