An Easter Sunday blessing
ALPENA, Mich. – This was the scene this morning at many sunrise services across the country. empty parking lots and stairs that would normally be filled with people heading in for Easter Sunday’s sunrise service
Like many churches across the country, there was no public gathering, but a recording of a service for our new virtual normal.
This morning at St. Anne’s catholic church here in Alpena, Father Muszkiewicz conducted a blessing of Alpena with the blessed sacrament in hopes of healing the city.
In a recent bulletin for the All Saints Parish, Father Muszkiewicz stated that there is still hope during this pandemic as people are helping and taking care of one another which is yet another example of God bringing good in the midst of tragic evil.
