Alpena’s homecoming comes home!
ALPENA, Mich. — Although we had a homecoming game last year, we lacked all the festivities that normally come with it.
Thankfully, the homecoming tailgate returned on Friday night, and turnout was strong.
Meijer, Northland Credit Union, and other businesses sponsored free hot dogs and drinks for audiences before the game.
People also picked up paper football helmets to show their wildcat pride.
Members of AHS’s cheer team told us they’re glad to be a part of the celebrations again.
