Alpena’s Director And Emergency Services Coordinator Arrested
Alpena County’s 911 Director and Emergency Services Coordinator was arrested on Sunday. The incident took place just before 4pm at the Grand China Buffet.
Michigan State Police of Alpena were called to the scene on the report of an intoxicated person, who was later identified as 57-year-old Mark Gurisko.
He was asked to perform a sobriety test– which he failed. During the investigation troopers determined that Gurisko had driven to the restaurant.
A search of the vehicle found an open beer in the car.
Gurisko was taken into custody for operating while intoxicated and lodged in the Alpena County Jail.
After posting bond, he was released. His next court appearance has not been scheduled.
