ALPENA, Mich. — An Alpena woman has been arrested for a home invasion.
Michigan State Police arrested 41–year–old Janae Elizabeth Marotta for a home invasion that occurred on February 3. The homeowner notified troopers that several items were missing and who she believed broke into her home. After a lengthy investigation, troopers found probable cause to search Marotta’s home where the stolen items were recovered.
The MSP arrested Marotta on October 28, where she was lodged in the Alpena County Jail.
Marotta faces one count Home Invasion Second Degree with a bond set at $5,000.
Her next scheduled court appearance is on December 1.
