Alpena Township sees large early voting turnout

ALPENA, Mich.– Alpena Township Clerk Michele Palevich says over 2,800 Alpena residents cast their ballots by mail or absentee.

That’s around 40% of Alpena’s registered voters. Palevich says most voters who come in to fill absentee ballots look optimistic.

She also says she’s confident in her team’s ability to run the election.
