Alpena Schools to go remote February 8th
ALPENA, Mich. – Alpena Public Schools will conduct K-12 classes fully remote for one day next week.
On Monday February 8th, classes will go remote in anticipation of a much higher volume of absences due to a large number of APS staff receiving their second dose of the COVID–19 vaccine.
According to health experts, it has been reported that individuals can experience elevated COVID–like symptoms 12 to 24 hours after receiving the second dose.
APS said they are taking precautions while allowing classes to resume and keep everyone safe.
