ALPENA, Mich. — Alpena Public Schools has given its website a fresh coat of paint.
The new website officially launched Monday morning, complete with the district’s new logo. Communications Director Lee Fitzpatrick said the project’s been in the works since the fall 2021 semester.
The home page features a more modern, visually–pleasing layout. It also places the most–requested information front–and–center.
“Calendars are always a big thing families check on. Lunch menus, curriculum and code of conduct. And we’ve got some hot buttons in the middle like transportation and food service that people like to find out about frequently.”
Fitzpatrick said he hopes the community takes advantage of these resources and stays informed on school happenings.
