ALPENA, Mich. — Alpena Public Schools have announced a return to in-person for most students beginning in January.
For the week of Jan. 4 through Jan. 8, students will resume online learning in the same format as before the holiday recess. The following Monday, Jan. 11, students in grades K-5 will begin in-person learning full-time, five days a week. Students in grades 6-12 will follow a hybrid schedule, with some students attending school on Mondays and Thursdays, and others in-person on Tuesdays and Fridays. Face-to-face learning will consist of a full school day for all grade levels.
