Highs late this afternoon topped out above freezing; unfortunately this mild air will be short-lived. A cold front will swing through the Sunrise Side tonight bringing a long-lasting blast of Arctic air.
Widely scattered snow showers are possible throughout tonight and Thursday as winds drive in from the northwest. Temperatures for tonight will drop into the upper 10s and hold steady there throughout the day on Thursday.
Temperatures for the weekend and early next week will remain below average with the best chance of snow likely to be on Saturday.
