ALPENA, MI. – Alpena High School’s Michigan’s Career and Technical Education students headed to the state capital for a CTE Showcase. The students showcased their programs on Thursday, April 28th.
The CTE programs are real examples of what is taking place in high schools and tech center throughout the state. AHS was one of 15 schools in Michigan to bring their displays to the capital. After lots of preparation, AHS students were eager to showcase their Business Management and Digital Media Program.
APS’s CTE programs received strong legislative support in years past, allowing updates to their 11 current programs. The showcase allows legislators to see how CTE is preparing students for Michigan’s workforce.
