Alpena falls to TC West on senior night
ALPENA, Mich. — The Alpena Wildcats girls’ soccer team couldn’t keep up with Traverse City West, losing 6-1 on senior night. The Titans move to 8-2-3 on the season.
Kami Schultz scored the lonely goal for the Wildcats and Alayna Trelfa finished with eight saves on the night. Alpena (2-15-1) will be in the Upper Peninsula on Monday as they’ll square off with Sault Ste. Marie.
Before the match began, the Wildcats honored four seniors (Alexis Jones, Kyla VanWagner, Addi Marceau, and Nicole Johnson) as they played their final regular season home game as a Wildcat.
