Alpena DDA extends Coffee and Cars event through summer
ALPENA, Mich. – The Alpena Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is extending its Coffee and Cars event through the remainder of the summer. After the success of their first event in July, the DDA decided to keep the event rolling.
Participants can drive their classic or collectible car downtown and park anywhere within the district they feel most comfortable. Participants may also cruise the downtown area.
The next Coffee and Cars event is scheduled Saturday, Aug. 8 from 8 a.m. until 12:00 pm.Â
Coffee and Cars is scheduled to occur from 8 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on the following additional dates, weather permitting:
- Saturday, Aug. 15
- Saturday, Aug. 22
- Saturday, Aug. 29
- Saturday, Sept. 5
The DDA reminds participants to practice social distancing guidelines, which include wearing a mask when inside or in close quarters with others.
