Alpena — It’s no secret to Michiganders that Michigan has some of the best freshwater beaches and towns in America.
The bragging rights can continue as several Michigan beach towns made the rankings for the personal finance website WalletHub’s list of “best freshwater beach towns to live in.” Alpena came in at #7. With all of the great attractions and clean beaches, Alpena was able to assert itself as one of the best in America.
Traverse City took the top spot. Holland, Port Huron, and Muskegon also cracked the list of 44 cities.
