Alpena County Public Library starts Winter Reading Challenge

ALPENA, Mich- If you’re looking for a challenge as we head into the new year, a good book could be a great start. The Alpena County Public Library has officially launched its Winter Reading Challenge. To participate, residents can pick up or prints out a challenge card, then complete the card by reading different assigned categories. Participants can also be entered into a drawing to win a prize of Downtown Dollars. If you’re interested in participating, challenge cards can be picked up at the library’s temporary location in Bear Pointe Plaza. Cards can also be picked up in Downtown Alpena at Cabin Creek Coffee or Parallel 45 Books & Gifts. Challenge cards can also be printed out on the library’s website.
